Jason grew up in Lancaster, Ohio, and graduated with honors from Ohio University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He attended Capital University Law School, where he graduated with honors in 1998.
Jason started his career at the law firm Goldman & Shihab where he primarily represented both property owners and real estate developers in disputes involving eminent domain and planning and zoning. He joined Gallagher, Gams in 2002, and he currently is the firm’s co-managing partner. Initially, his practice focused primarily on defense of automobile injury claims for insurers. Over the years, his practice has evolved to focus primarily on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage issues throughout the state of Ohio. His areas of practice include:

Over his career, Jason has accumulated significant trial and appellate experience, with dozens of jury trials and bench trials throughout the state. He also has maintained an active appellate practice with arguments in most Ohio appellate districts and the Ohio Supreme Court as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
